Windows 8 on Touchpad

Can i install Windows 8 on my HP Touchpad ?

No, not yet.
As you may know, the HP TouchPad comes with an ARM processor, so the only way to put Windows 8 on it, it's to install the RT version.
The problem is Microsoft doesn't allow to download - even legally - the .iso file of this version. In other words Windows 8 RT is comes only on OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

But I hope they will -even try- to put W8 on our Touchpad! smiling

what if i have a developers account (i'm not a developer), if the RT version is available there, would it be compatible with the touchpad?

I'm not sure, but I think with some modifications on the boot loader, it may work, yes.
It would be good.
